Collaboration
During my time at SCAD I was offered the opportunity to work with Snap-On Tools as an art director with the goal of producing a mini documentary series that showcases the stories of Snap-On tools “Makers and Fixers” who use Snap-On Tools everyday to serve their communities.
Ideation
As art director it was my job to work one on one with the illustration department in order to create images that would enhance the viewing experience of the mini documentaries. In early ideation I shared the teams illustrations with the client for feedback.

Finalized STYLES
After our first meeting with the professional Snap-On team we settled on our final visual languages. Focusing on strong shapes with pops of red for a consistent image. Line-based images would be used for transitions from scene to scene throughout the film and portraits would be done of each of the subjects.

Presentation
In addition to the deliverables needed for the film, our team was tasked with giving the Snap-On team an interactive viewing experience. With that the visuals team created auto-body inspired posters, decor, and an interactive performance to fully immerse the Snap-On team in our Makers and Fixers Documentary Series
Documentaries
At the end of the 10 week project our team was able to produce three fully edited mini documentaries centered around eight different Makers and Fixers. The visuals team developed a cohesive brand image that was used throughout the film. I am proud of the work my team was able to accomplish and grateful for the opportunity to work as an art director for this project.
